The Warrior Woman Lane website honours Warrior Woman Lisa Bellear. Our inspiration for the site was the to create a “Digital Lane”.

Warrior Woman Lane in Carlton was named after Lisa Bellear in November 2018. Two years on, we invite you to go behind the scenes here to find out more about Lisa and to visit Warrior Woman Lane to experience an art by Charlotte Allingham and Timmah Ball inspired by her life and contribution to the Melbourne community. If you’re in Melbourne take a walk down Warrior Woman Lane: just off Nicholson Street between Kay Street and Alexander Parade, Carlton.

This project was supported by Lisa Bellear’s Family, City of Melbourne, Victorian Women's Trust, Koorie Women Mean Business, Moondani Balluk and GUCK.
